I am a Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon and a consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and I work at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry, Shropshire.
I specialise in children’s orthopaedics and young adult hip disorders.
Paediatric Orthopaedics is the branch of medicine that deals with the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents.
Within children’s orthopaedics I am interested in hip disorders, clubfoot, limb deformity and neuromuscular disorders.
I treat young adult hip disorders including impingement, shallow hips (dysplasia) and early arthritis. I undertake keyhole hip surgery ( hip arthroscopy) and surgery to realign the hip socket (triple pelvic osteotomy ).
Children Orthopaedics is the branch of surgery concerned with conditions involving the musculoskeletal system.
